That's an awful food. The first ingredient is not meat.
We feed the Southern States Advanced. It's first indgredient is chicken by product and then corn! LOL So it is not the worst! When we first started using it a coupld of years ago I swear it was better made. Not it is FULL of grains. With the help of fellow Greyhound ownders and my vet we are trying Blue Buffalo dog food. Sounds like a great dog food. Tast of the Wild looks great, but geeeez it costs enough! Hopefully, this will work. Thanks for the help. I love to hear everyones opinion!
A dog's digestive system is not designed to digest corn or soy. I don't care if it is first, second or third on the ingredient list. It is not appropriate food for a dog. Not getting snippy with you, just my general disgust over this being in so many types of dog foods, especially the expensive brands or prescription brands.
Taste of the WIld is pretty spendy, I agree. But my cats eat a lot less of the good food than they did the crappy food loaded with fillers. Less food in = less food out
