Grieving goose

Our goose mate passed last march. She has not layed any eggs still. Does anyone know how long she will not lay eggs. I have found ways she likes to relax eith beethoven but no eggs.

Geese are seasonal layers. They do not lay all year long. She will lay again in the spring. You should look into getting another goose to keep her company as they are flock animals and get very lonely alone.

Please get her a friend! It does not have to be another male, geese enjoy company from both sexes! She'll be a much happier bird

She has made friends with our dog and we are with her all day. She is a pet goose so she lives with us in the house. I am in the process of moving to bigger place so we can get a companion for her.
