Grit for chicks?

Thanks all! That's what I figured. Just need it when they start getting treats.

Go to Lowes or home depot, playground sand for chicks, red medium sand for adults. I use it for my birds dust bath but we have plenty of grit in our dirt here. The dirt is made up of mostly sand. A little less than $4 a 50# bag.

I've always given grit to chicks,not much just sprinkle it on top. I always thought it helped them from getting pasty butt. Will
