Grit for popcorn?

I was tempted to toss my chicks a couple pieces of popcorn but wasn't sure if they'd need grit for that? They're a week old.

Yes, they can't digest anything other the feed without it. Just put it in a bowl to the side, they will take it when needed. I've never heard of chickens with popcorn, let us know how they like it. You should see them with noodles or meat though...
