We made these today for the girls! Recycle & Reuse! Country fancy! And functional!
Those look great! Would you mind telling me how they work, so I can build one?
It's a wine bottle and a tuna can. The can is mounted to the board and the bottle is suspended about 1/2 inch above the can. I used zip ties. It made it easy! Still had to drill holes but I love them. I got the idea from Fresh Eggs Daily on Facebook! I bet it's on Pinterest!
Hmmm, interesting!!!! I currently have my OS in a dog food dish - it always gets filled with shavings.
I love these bottles. I think they are awesome! . And it was a pretty easy project!
I had 2 Arizona Tea jugs and I cut a large hole in the wide side. And zip tied to the hardware cloth.
I have a hen who is handi-clucked. Lol handi-capped. Leg injury that never healed. She doesn't walk well. I need something for her too. Maybe I will think about using a small soda bottle for her! Awesome idea!!
That is brilliant in its simplicity!
And, well, any idea that uses up some of these wine bottles is welcome.
This is great!!! I already use the large tuna cans just have to add the bottles.
Do you have to cut and reinstall zip tyes every time you add water????????
