Hi everyone just asking if anyone has a picture of their grit bowl? Wondering how big their grit has to be as I only see crushed oyster shells as grit in the pet stores and not actual rock. Any information helps thanks!

Well, there are at least two sizes of grit that I know of one is for chicks and one is for grown birds. What kind of birds are you needing the grit for?
When I have a Brooder full of ducklings I placed a small dish of chick grit next to their food bowls, so they can take what they want if I have been giving them treats, but if I only give them feed and never give them any treats like peas or lettuce or anything other than their Feed , then they don’t need any grit.
My adult ducks live outside so they get grit from the Earth except right now. Everything is frozen over with snow and ice so I actually went out today with a cup of adult size grit and sprinkled some on the ground around their water containers.
I also have four elderly ducks that are still inside because I have not yet been able to dig their coop out from under the snow and ice so they have a dish of adult grit in my basement deck Hospital room with them.

My birds find plenty of grit in the yard/garden/driveway while free ranging but like many others I've had to supplement during winter. I just toss a couple handfuls out every few days and they pick what they want. As I have turkeys, ducks and chickens it's nice to have a varied size, which this bag certainly has. While processing a spare cockerel this morning I noticed he had some of the smaller bits of grit in his gizzard. This is what I've been using, though when I bought the same thing at the feed store it was only 10$ https://www.chewy.com/cherry-stone-..._term=chewy&utm_content=Chewy - All Web Pages

Oops, sorry you asked for a picture. Here is some adult poultry size grit. It’s crushed granite
