I bought 10 pullets over the week end. They are 2 and 3 weeks old. should i give them chicken grit. how much chick starter should they be feed in a day. thank you

They don't need grit as long as they are only eating chick starter. I generally just keep feed in front of chicks at all times.

I am using grit now, but mine are out in the chicken tractor, (four weeks old). I think you should use grit anytime the chicks are allowed to start eating extras like worms, bugs, grass, etc.

I like to mix a little grit in with their feed...And I always try to keep feed laying by them...
