Should I be giving my 3 week old chicks? They only eat starter feed.

They don't need grit until they are eating things larger and more solid than fine crumbled chicken feed/starter.

So if I want To introduce my chicks to treats, will they need grit. For such treats as mealworms, peas, green beans, bread etc.

Chicks can eat starter crumbles, boiled/scrambled eggs or yogurt fine with no grit. Anything else and they need some grit before getting the treat.

Just watch them with the grit. They do have a tendency to tank up on it. So don't give them a whole lot/free choice grit for the first few days.
