Hi! So... a couple of times I have observed my growing chicks vents as they pooped, they kinda.... pulse after they poop, and whilst it pulses a little nubbin goes in and out?! I wondered if this could be a sign of a roo... It comes from the top side of the vent, nearest the tail. Maybe it’s just what vents are like, I really don’t know. Maybe hens butts look like this too. But maybe one of you will tell me this means it’s probably a little rooster?
