Gross

You might try dried hot pepper flakes.

Don't know if they'd work but I've heard it's good for your birds and most dogs won't eat them. It's just not certain that they would keep their spice when comming out the other end

It makes my want to wretch every time I see them gobbling the chicken snacks up. My giant nufy eats them and then comes and tries to lick my hands and any other part of my arms he can

and my little papillion prefers to eat them instead of going potty. It is just so nasty

My ACD actually enjoys cat poop... He waits to see when I am not looking and sticks his head into the kitty litter box, eating poo and litter!!! Agh!!! Drives me nuts!!! So now I am extra careful to prevent him from enjoying those so called tasty treats of his!!!

Strange dog I got. I tell him no and that's the end of it. But then He knows I'm alpha and he's number 2. I've not seen him touch chicken poop. I have seen him step in some.

m But then I have also.

I'd actually rather see that, than what goes on in our yard. Two of our chickens, the Belgian d'Uccles, go hunting for our dog's poo every time I let them free range. Yuck! We eat those eggs! And the other hens in the flock seem as disgusted with this behavior as I am.

I have never seen my girls eating the 4 legged furry treats just the other way around

There is a product called "Forbid" that makes poo taste nasty (like it SHOULD take something to do that.....

). Anyway, it's great to break your dog from eating cat poo. And will stop dogs from eating other dogs' or their own (nasty but it happens alot). It even works to stop foals from eating poo and has been reported to stop dogs from eating horse poo.
Not sure if it can be fed to birds though.... I'd bet that the manufacturers could tell you.

I've heard a few times that dogs won't eat their poo if you feed them pineapple. For whatever reason, it supposedly tastes awful coming out the other end...

I don't know if chickens can or even will eat pineapple, but I'm sure the effect would be the same or similar. Maybe worth a try...
