Not the best, but here they are...

It wrapped up tight, with just one piece removed so I could peek. lol...

And here's the peep hole my dogs made!

it was driving them nuts not being able to see the quail.

Here it is open... I can open more if need be. It's in sections, and just clipped to the cage.

There's some glare, but you can kinda see a long shot of the Aviary, and all the hay boxes and snuggle spots.

Eggs...

They've been eating the grass, and it was planted for them, but they also smashed it all down to sleep on. LOL!
Alot of good it did to give they hay piles. LOL!! The mint was pretty smashed too. I bet I have some sweet smelling quail.

When my son went out to get eggs, they were all around his feet and climbing on him. He enjoyed them this morning.

Keep mine in an old rabbit hutch. Have six hens and a rooster. Have plans to build another bigger cage and separate this group and add another roo. Probably will use this as a grow out pen when I get my new one built.

Wow, this is a great thread. Lots of info- thanks!

I am thinking of diving into quail raising and I am debating the ground vs wire thing. My property is mostly clay soil however so I am a little concerned about drainage. I also have a chicken run nearby the area I am thinking of putting the quail.

@ Critter Place- How has your setup been working this past year? Is it difficult to find the eggs among all the hiding places?
