Group Buys

I am just wondering and not sure if this is the correct spot to post, but has anyone organized a group buy with a company with success? I have seen it done with other forums I belong too with surprisingly good discounts. Maybe a new section could be formed with this idea. With so many members it should be possible. There are always things we need involving raising chickens and why not try to save a buck or two. Maybe there is a section I am overlooking, I am pretty new to this site.
