I have 6 7wk olds that have been outside now for about 2wks fully feathered and I recieved two 25lb bags of grower/layer crumbles is it a big deal to feed them that at this age they also get let out into the backyard to free range every afternoon when we get home looking for opinions I dont want to hurt my babies!!!!

Don't feed layer ration until they either start to lay or 20 weeks of age, whichever comes first. The extra calcium hurts the internal organs of growing chicks.

Regular grower and free ranging will be great for them.

Personally I'd feed it to them. They are 1/2 way to layers.
(mind you, I will be wrong regardless to what I answer)

But they are past the baby stage.
