Cowpeas! My neighbors from LA (the state) always grow purple hull peas, which are a type of cowpea, so I decided to buy some to try!
Last year we grew cotton, and planted it in a few locations. One location was the clear winner, so I’ll try again this year bc only a few bolls opened.
