I now have hens and pullets. How can I successfully feed them together, providing everyone's needs?

Get a high protein all flock feed. Put some oyster shells on the side for the layers. The non layers shouldn’t bother the oyster shells.
What is considered high protein 16, 17, 18?

20% plus is the bottom of "high" crude protein. 16% crude protein is (in the US) generally considered the absolute minimum in protein - the EU gets by on less with reater amino acid supplimentation. 18% is a common "middle ground".

Over 20% crude protein has only very limited benefit for most chickens at most ages and is significantly more expensive - but is needed for turkey, game birds like quail, and specialty feed regimens, such as some for Cx.

Hope that helps.
