Good morning!

My chicks are 10 weeks old now. I was wondering when I should remove the roos?
I have 20 chicks and about half are roos. All but 1 will be culled for the freezer.
Also, what is the best age for the best meat?

Unless they're fighting or you don't want fertilized eggs, I don't believe there's a certain time you'd 'have' to separate them. I've read a few people culling extras around 3 months... I would think older birds would be tough.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

If they're all getting along then you probably don't need to separate them. I don't know what age the chickens should be dinner though....I hope someone answers you soon that knows more than me!
