I am looking to rehome my two domestic ducks. Both female. A khaki Campbell and a Cayuga. We had 6 ducks for about two years and the fox population has significantly increased this spring and we lost 4 in 2 days. We have several acres but are surrounded by woods and with the increased fox sightings and recent events I feel that putting them in a safer environment is best. Are there any domestic Duck sanctuaries in the Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania area that you all know of?

Is anyone interested in starting a Speckled Sussex breeding program? They're on The Livestock Conservancy's Priority Conservation List, so they can be difficult to find. I "fell into" a pair of pullets at TSC eight weeks ago ,,, but by the looks of their combs, I think I have an actual "pair," instead! Letting both pullet and cockerel go together, not just the male! I'm in Maryland, very close to Newark.

I am looking for a couple of recommendations for vets that take chickens so I have their names on hand. Had a scare last night with baby chick getting a hair stuck in it's mouth... she seems good atm but got me thinking that I have no clue who I would take my birds to if I have a need for them.
Also looking for recommendations for possibly getting the sand in our coop and run and want to know what the costs would usually run and where to go for that as well. Thank you in advance for your time.
