Growling?!

I have a polish hen, and today she was standing in the corner of the fence, looking at the fence and around it and she was growling. Anyone see this behavior before? She was not acting aggressively towards the other girls, there was just something she heard or saw. Lasted about 3 minutes then all was fine

I got one that does the same thing, except he'll crawl in behind something and do it.

It's her predator growl. She did it again and we noticed a hawk flying around the trees

I think mine do the same thing. They "growl" when they want to come out to forage.
