Can I please ask why you would need such a huge chicken? I guess don't run from the chickens now. Now you're that little earthworm or cricket running for dear life.

Sorry I had to do that. But if you want a big chicken that comes out with good processing weight, I would go with a CornishX. You don't need any growth hormones. They are bred for their size. You can process them in 6-8 weeks at sometimes I guess from 5-8lbs live. My meat chicken was 13lbs when he died. That was 6 months though. Now if you want a slower roasting bird(like one of your darned roosters that chase you) then you might want to keep him for about 5 months. Then he will be a good roasting weight. To make teh process speed up, I would feed a higher protein food for your rooster. the CX's I would feed them the higher protein onced a day. No more. Or they will literally explode. Literally from heart problems. And I honestly don't know of any actual growth hormones. Now theres antibiotics but stay as far away to them like you would when you see your mother in law at the grocery store haha. seriously stay away from those. You want animals without those in them.
