Growth on Duck's Bill

This came up about a week ago. It grows bigger everyday.

This is the same duck I posted about a few months ago with the webbing issue. He's currently doing fine other than this growth that just popped up.

Any ideas on what this could be?

poor baby! Ouch that looks painful!
I expect it is a wound that blistered/got infected, but I cant say for sure.
Is a vet an option? Be gentle, but, does it feel solid or like its full of liquid? From the photo it looks full of liquid.

Is he eating alright? I would give him a very deep food dish, full of wet soupy feed, so that he doesnt keep bumping this growth while he eats.
