I've had two chickens on this farm die of Lymphoid Leukosis. Yesterday I noticed another sick hen. Depressed, lethargic, and I noticed a growth on her comb. I'm worried I will lose another to LL. The state vet said the last hen was full of internal tumors. Is it possible for tumors to grow OUTSIDE the body in LL? Or is my head too focused on that?

Anybody know what this could be? How to treat?

Will try to post pictures...

She's just sitting still - just like the other hen(s). Oh lord - too much death.

Any help?

Anyone ever see a growth like this? Does it look like a tumor?

She can't walk well - balancing on her wings. Decreased appetite. Growth on comb. Someone in the hen house has had bright green in their poop - I suspect it's her. Last night she didn't get on the roost.

Gosh valsey, I wish I could help you. I am sorry this is going on in your flock. Hopefully someone will come along and read this and be able to help you.
