My female cuyoga has a growth on her head that has been there for a few months now. It doesn't seem to bother her at all but it is quite large. Does anybody have any idea what this could be and if it could be lanced? Or will it go away on its own? I have had sucks all my life and have never seen anything like this.

Try to see if you can get some Nu- Stock some feed stores carry it or you can purchase on line. It says it is effective on all skin disorders, deep wounds, cuts and eliminates certain growths on animals contains no steroids ingredients is sulfur73%/pine oil 2% /mineral oil 25% maybe worth a try before cutting.

Another benign thing you could try is an Epsom salt compress - it is supposed to have drawing properties. Just don't let her drink any as it is a laxative.

I have not seen anything like this in my flock.

Where is it on her head? Near the bill? Ear? Top of the neck?
