Hello everybody-
I have a turkey that is 2 years old. He's been rehomed with some of my neighbors for about a year and a half. They recently asked if I wanted him back, so I took him back in. I noticed he had about a quarter sized growth on the back of his head, and it looked infected. I boiled it with peroxide and assumed he got it from fight with the roosters up the road.
Well It's been about a month now and it isn't getting any better. Looks to be close to golf ball sized now.
Can anyone tell me what it is and what I need to do to treat it? He is with one hen and she looks fine. He doesn't act uncomfortable or anything, but I'm worried about it.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
