Growth rate in different types

Has anyone noticed a difference in growth rates among the different colors and types? In spring we hatched out some JMF Whites and they took about 4weeks to feather out. We just hatched some Jumbo Pharaohs and they are just entering their second week and some have complete feathers.

In my experience, it has more to do with the season than their colour.

Definitely. My king quails that hatched in autumn and winter weren't fully feathered until five to six weeks old, but I had a king quail chick that hatched in summer who already had blue and red feathers at one and a half weeks old.
