Growth Rate of BR chicks

I received my EE and BR chicks at the same time (hatched same day). According to Meyer's catalog the BR should grow slightly bigger than the EEs.
Then I also got a few Cuckoo Maran chicks that were just a few days older.
The EEs are growing. The Cuckoo Marans are REALLY growing but I know they will be bigger as adults so not worried about that.
But the BR is just sort of staying the same. Her feathers aren't coming in as fast as the others. Her size isn't changing much.
Her attitude is HUGE though so I don't think she is sick.

Are BRs usually slow growers or is something wrong with her? She's eating and drinking and very active and outgoing.

They're slow growers, yes. Especially with feathering out.

That is weird because I find them to feather in quickly, though the females get their tails before the males, generally. Could be just a runty baby.

My pullets always feather in first, you sure it's not a runt roo?

My runt roo rocks feathered slowest. Never had a slow feathering female, except for one who was injured young. I kept one of the runt roos just to see and he's only a tiny bit off in size from the others at almost five months. So slow may not mean small or slow forever.

I don't have any other BRs to compare 'it' to.
Here. I took that picture just now. JayJay is exactly 1 week old roday.
It does have a teeny little tail.
Nothing compared to the Cuckoo Marans who seem to grow like weed though.

Compared to the EEs who are the same age it's not too far behind as far as feathers go but it just doesn't grow like the EEs and CMs as far as body size goes!

Whenever I hatched out barred rocks with other breeds I always noticed that they grew in feathers last. The other birds would have almost a full wing set and start growing other feathers when the BR's barely started growing wing feathers at all. That's what always happened with mine, anyway.

I have BRs and EEs. My BRs are bigger than my EEs for sure, but they feather in slower...even when they molt. One of my BRs is just NOW finishing her annual molt!!! My EEs are already laying again and months past their molt.
