This is started on the front of the leg we are assuming? It’s super hard on the outside and was about 2 inches longer before I trimmed it back. It was hollow until you got closer to his leg. Then it was more of the yellow “infection” I’m assuming? It smelled like infection anyway. I was able to trim more than what picture is showing. Until I started to get serous fluid/little amount of blood. Anyone seen or felt with this before?

In my very unlearned opinion. I'm wondering if it's a tumor?
That was my first thought when I saw it. It’s on my parents little Banty rooster. My dad originally told me he thought it was his spur not growing right. I saw it for the first time today and was like uhhh that’s not a spur 😆

Is his spur growing back into his leg?

I don’t believe so. From what I could tell there is somewhat of a spur still left. It looks like the growth (?) started on the front part of the leg and just kind of grew down and around encasing the spur. I could be totally wrong too. But what I trimmed off to begin with was almost hard, flaky, and hollow. Maybe an inch- inch and a half wide. I had to use horse hoof nippers.

Is the blood flow limited to those two areas so far?

What areas? The toes seem to be getting blood flow..I trimmed more after I took these pictures. The closer I got, the softer it was in the middle with that thick yellow stuff which I assume it was infection from the smell. And some serous fluid/some blood. So I stopped because I wasn’t sure how much farther to go without causing major bleeding.

To clarify, I see those two bleeding areas at the top, are there any others?

Ooooo. There was that spot but I trimmed it and it was almost like a pocket of fluid, like it was seeping through. It never really bled at all.
