One year old hen started growing these...growths on her head. She has 4 now and they grew very fast - within a week or so. Two are on the eyes, she can't see anymore, one on the neck. We don't have a vet who could identify them. They are the size of a half walnut. She was on metronidazole for a week but they kept growing. They are hard when squeezed. Any idea what these are?

Can you get some more photos of the growths that are on the rest of her body?
Also look inside her ear - behind that tuft of feathers I have circled - any yellow gunk inside the canal?
If you open her eye, is there pus?

So... I posted too quickly. The vet sent me (and the hen) home. He said he cannot yet put her to sleep as she is walking and eating. My question is- what do I do to stop these tumors from growing larger?
Thank you for the replies. I just came back from another vet - 1-hour drive.. and he said these are tumors and nothing could be done. There is no pus, the growths are hard and attached to the skin/bones.
If you can get some more photos that may be helpful.
Did the vet have any idea what is causing the tumors? Marek's?
I'm not sure what you could do to stop them - did the vet give you any suggestions?
