So two days ago I was at cross country practice and met everyone back at the track when a little dog comes running up to me. Looks like a pug mix and is missing one eye and its nails are so long it looks painful. I pick the smelling long haired mess up and most of the other kids on the team thought it was a ugly dog. I thought he was cute just needing some love and attention. A guy on the team shyed away from the dog and said he wouldn't touch it because of its missing eye and it looked like a creature off of star wars. I normally would ask Katie a friend of mine to take him in because she works at the vet clinic here in town but she wasn't there so I asked her brother Craig and he was nice enough and let him get in his car and take him there because I had to get to driver's ed to take a test. Well we pull up in the high school parking lot and there is TWO MORE dogs running around in the parking lot! I gather these two up one is a Lapso Apso and the other looks like a Skye Terrier. I put them in my mom's car and call the number on the pet tag that gets you in contact with the owners well I guess last time they were at the animal control they accidently put a cat's tag and number on the dog so we had to drive them down to the vet clinic and meet Craig there telling him the situation. So we walk in and the first thing out of the ladies mouth is, "Its Bandit again isn't it?" to the other lady, and she laughs it off. How could you see this dog come in more than two times and just take him right back to the owner and let him get out again? He is gonna end up getting hit by a car. He had to cross a VERRRRRY BUSY road to get where he was at with his little friend. So they gave us the address to where the dog's owner lived. Which is right across the street. So we walk up and the owner is just about to leave and I walk up and ask him if they are his. He says "Oh, how did they get out again?" He was about to leave to go to work and didn't even know his dogs were running loose?! Shouldn't you check on your dogs BEFORE you leave?! And the vet said she had seen Bandit running loose the night before behind a restraunt meaning he had been loose since the day before! Meaning he didn't check on his dogs the night before or in the morning! I was so mad I gave him a dirty look and told him "Don't let it happen again." and set the dogs down inside the door. I was about to march right out of there with his dogs and take them to the humane society.
