I've always wanted one of those! Wow, that lap quilt should coordinate with those colors beautifully! So happy it will have a home!@speckledhen we lived in Wyoming when I joined BYC, we moved to Wisconsin last year - DH in January and I moved here when our house sold in August. My new house is a 1935 Craftsman with a fully enclosed front porch. I love it, although it has been to cold to use it much.
Maybe this will give a clue as to why I wanted your quilt top, I think it will be a great addition.

this is my Hammock Chair, temporarily hanging on my front porch, right in the way of the swing. I had DH hang a hook for it out in Wyoming, so now I need to find a home for it here in Wisconsin. a perfect place to sit in the evening and read a book.
Quote: Thank you. Me, too, lol! Seems I've been working on it forever. I went to Hobby Lobby in Cleveland, TN today and found three fabrics for my fall quilt I will be doing soon. I'm collecting them as I find them. They had a super neat chicken print I wanted but couldn't figure what to do with, lots of Brahmas (fantasy Brahmas, I call them, odd colors, LOL)

Have you considered doing English paper piecing with them? You could make some really pretty fantasy chicken star blocks with them!Thank you. Me, too, lol! Seems I've been working on it forever. I've never really wanted to paper piece. The chickens themselves were probably 6" across in a very densely colored print. Even if I changed my mind, I won't be back that way for quite awhile since it's over an hour away so probably won't see it again.
They are way too big then!! If they were little they would be adorable worked into a star shaped center for something along the line of a mariner's compass... It's such a fun print though! It's one of those ones you would have to throw in your stash and forget about though, until one day you pick it up and find it is perfect for a piece you are working on... I have a couple of prints like that. I love them, they are fun and bright, and I have no idea what to use them in!I've never really wanted to paper piece.
