Guardian Dogs- tell me everything!

I want to know anything anyone with experience has to say pro or con about livestock guardian dogs.
It seems that Great Pyrenees are popular in my area.

I'm interested in this topic too. I've got horses, goats, chickens and hopefully soon rabbits. It would be really nice to be able to leave my goats and young horses out at night without panicking about predators.
