How adorable! What do you use in your brooder setup? (I really like the looks of it

The brooder is a livestock oval water tub. We put down a layer of shavings and line it with paper towel for the first few days to give them time to get used to finding the food and water. The heat lamp clips onto one end, so they snuggle there at first to stay warm but walk away from it to cool down if it's too hot. We have a short one (about 14 or so inches high) and another one that is much deeper for the flying stage.

Thanks cmom and gumpsgirl! 2 more peeps hatched after I moved all the babies to the brooder, so we're up to 60 little fuzzies!

No, they were blacks. Well, total of 20 chicks are staying and need to find homes for the other 40. 11 went to a new home yesterday, so 29 to go. Whew..that brooder is full! And another hatch coming this Friday. I must be crazy.
