I have been raising a few ducklings for a friend, they are pekin mixes and they have been rather skittish around me because I haven't had much time to make friends. Yesterday while I was sitting out with them (have to supervise free ranging because our cats WILL kill them), a small plane flew overhead (we live by a personal-plane airport, so little low-flying 2 person planes) and they all fled straight to me and hid under my legs and told me they were sorry and they would be my friend as long as I didn't let that thing eat them
Silly little guys! They even let me pet them and tell them it was all ok. Guess I am less scary than possible death from above!
