My Mo turned out to be the broody duck. She's my 1st brooder. I have 3 other ducks, a drake, and a 1/2 grown drake. Then a barred hen, Jersey pair, and RIR pair. Of all the ducks I had hoped Mo would be the last to lay, knowing the statistics on crested hatches and all. But I placed a few eggs from the other ducks under her just in case. She's sitting on 10 eggs total and this is the end of the 2nd week/beginning of the 3rd. Mo is smaller than the other ducks except the runner. She could be a Pekin mix? She is pretty but always the trouble maker. When its time to go in at night she's running in the other direction, when its time to eat she is always there 1st, she's the loudest and the 1st to start quacking as loudly as possible every morning. Well, she did all this until she started laying. But my is she pretty

Oh, and that is our Christmas tree she's laying under. She chose the fire pit to lay in and every time the nest got moved she just kept going back. So we'll wait til they hatch to burn it and the other few things around it.
