I Like EEs too. I had this one pullet last year who was all black and looked a lot like a Black Orpington, but she was and EE and laid khaki colored eggs.
I had two last year that got killed in a dog attack who I called Pigeon and Little Pigeon because they had the coolest color to them and both laid blue eggs, but they were buff with blue and beautiful.
I will also say this, there are many EEs that have a similar pattern in their coloring, but it isn't standard coloring and they don't all have it. It kills me when you read where someone says, "That is an Easter Egger because that is what color/pattern they come in." They can look like ANY combination of ANY breeds or not look like any other breed. They are, without prejudice, mutts.
