OOOO. I like that Smilie! If I had a night vision scope, I would. That was one time when I would have loved for the dogs to start barking their heads off.

No, not a Basque.Basque Shepherd?
Yep, pure as pure can be.Is it pure? It reminds me a lot of Aussie mix my neighbor had a few years back.
Not sure if anyone did... But nope, it's not a Duck Toller. (I think Mama may have guessed that...)did anyone guess a canadian duck toller???
Hehehe.... You and Kevin are really close with the Aussie ideas...Looking at the head shape and color, I thought Aussie, but again, the regulars on here don't make anything that easy! Do they, Kevin?
I just got a huge chill going down my back a few minutes ago. I was out closing up and doing the brooder chores for the night, and all of the sudden a pack of yotes who are in the field started howling, very close and very loud! Freaked me out a bit, I must confess. I sure hope all my birds are safe tonight.
I didn't know coyotes mixed with wolves.
It's not an Aussie, is it![]()
Sadly yes we haveThey're aren't supposed to be any wolves around here for them to breed with, but I thought that one sounded more wolfish to me and I had thought about that.
They are debating about the Wolf Hunt in WIsconsin a lot the last few days because they only want people tracking with dogs, not allowing dog/wolf contact, and with good reason I think. It makes me sad to know they are hunting them, but they have really started to get into places that are dangerous for people and the wolves. Us humans have really screwed up the natural order of things, haven't we?
