He was about 10 or so in that picture. His pal was a female Black Standard Poodle whom he was the boss of and she just had a heart of softness and never hurt him whatsoever! I miss them so much!

My niece just got a GP mix from rescue. I asked her if she has a good vacuum cleaner. A couple of days later she said "I vacuum hair up every day!" I am not sure if she expected that or not. I have seen one in full blow, and I would not want that in my house. I had a Chow/Doby mix who had a pretty thick coat, not quite as thick as a Chow, but enough. When he started blowing his coat, I clipped him down. It was getting warm by then anyway and he was black and like laying more where he could keep cool, so it was a nice thing for him to stay comfortable. There was much less hair in my house that way too.
The Poodles look like woolly bears now and need a good clip down. Maybe Sunday I can get a start on them.
