There are two different "Staffordshire" breeds, the American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The AKC Am Staff can be dual registered with UKC as an American Pit Bull Terrier. There are some differences but it's more on the line of comparing Chevy cars with GMC cars. AKC doesn't use the name APBT and UKC doesn't use the name Am Staff. Some families or lines within a registry (AKC, UKC) just don't dual register- but it could be done. The Staffy Bull is NEVER dual registered as an APBT, different breeds, different looks.
