Guess The Breed!!! Dog Edition!!!!

my guess is mutt. Possibly a Ridgeback/greyhound or Dane cross, but that head just isn't Dane.

RE: the aryan molossus - that is a name used to market to english speaking people. The natives would call him a koochee. Just like my breed - a Turk would call it kangal if it were fawn with black mask, akbash if it were white, or simply coban kopegi which encompasses all colors.

Pharaoh Hound with uncropped ears?

That would have been an interesting one but no it's not a Pharaoh hound!

Very similar breed but no

Oh I though it was a different breed because it says the two are tied very close together but were not the same breed. http://www.completedogsguide.com/dog-breeds/rare/Aryan-Molossus/

Thats one of those things thats not easy to determine, really. Many of the dogs in areas like that are more like a breed with many subtypes, than true breeds of themselves. But that depends on who you ask!

On that sighthound, It doesnt look like one to me, but sloughi?

Thank you for clarifying that. I don't have much insight on some of the breed "Disputes" in foreign countries but do love learning more about the issues.
