Dianne, you must be new here, I do jest. It just seemed silly picture of a beast of burden in potato sack race. I DO understand the practicality of them in Tibet, just not here in the US, for riding, that is.Well, you might not need to ride a yak on the flat at sea level--but how about at 20,000 ft. elevation, when the O2 levels are nil, the wind is whipping, and the temperature is hovering well below zero?
You'd be very thankful of riding a yak under those conditions!
