hello.
heres some pics i took this morning, i had bought rare breeds. that are supposed to be all hens. i havent a clue what we have. i posted awhile when they were days old.
now they are reaching a month and 1 week. getting so big!

this is where the baby chicks are living. they are in a cage thats inside the coop. the main coop is shared with 4 other laying girls. we are currently building a extension to the coop... making it much bigger. it will be 10 chickens afterall!!

we have extened the run too. we are gonna modifiey the door to the run on the far left. i put that up (kinda hacked it) well its gonna have a small opening in the middle so the girls will all be together. the run on the right side. my father put up. it held very well over snow and rain.
we used 2x4 and some other woods. then we poured cement on the posts. and along the sides. the edges all have 12 inch deep hardwire cloth fencing.
