Guess the breed of horse and it's color!!!! It's an amazing horse too!!!

Akel Teke I believe this color is Champagne, or that is what it is called in the gaited horses around here.

Is it champagne with the metallic gene over top? When I say over top because horse colors basically work in layers with a basic base coat and the genetic modifiers changing the base coat. As in a buckskin is a bay with the creme gene over top.

Champagne Palomino

Perlino has more of a pinto color and they have a bit darker/flaxen mane and tail to them. Common in pintos but this original picture shows of a different breed and the only color I can find the closest is the champagne palomino. The horse shows white sockings, and same color of mane and tail as of the body color.

simply beautiful!

Yup! Morgans come in all sorts of colors. I have a palomino mare and a buckskin stallion. Here is a site about colors (in Morgans) and also a break down of cremello, perlinos, etc. Basically chestnut dilutes to palomino and the double dilute is cremello which is still my guess for the color of the horse posted. The metallic sheen is a characteristic of Akhal Tekes.
