Chirping
Hi all! Just snapped some photos of my flock. They are 6 weeks 3 days old. I order the Color egg assortment from Hoover’s. According to the description, I could revive any combo of the following:
Americana, Cuckoo Marans, French Black Copper Marans, Midnight Majesty Marans, Prairie Bluebell Eggers, Olive Eggers, Sapphire Olive Eggers or Starlight Green Eggers.
My 10 female chicks surprised with one handsome Roo, who is easy to see now. I’m thinking he is an Americana?
My three black girls, I believe are 2 French Copper Mariana (both have that beautiful copper color around neck and feathered feet). The third is my largest bird and she has GIANT non-feathered feet and her black feathers summer blue, I tried to capture that in the picture. So I’m thinking she is a Midnight Majesty?
My smallest girl was a chipmunk looking chick and her brown specked/striped feathers are so soft - Easter Egger?
The rest of the girls look a lot a like and I’m not sure except for one I think might be a Starlight Green. She just has a different look about her head, face and comb.
I’d love to see what some of you experienced chicken parents think!
