These pics were taken Today. She was hiding from the heat in the henhouse with the other young ones. It stays quite a bit cooler in there until late evening.

She has grown out of most of the blue around her neck. Her tail is disfigured. At 4 weeks old I ended up with a cannibal in the big brooder. He ate off both sides of her tail nub and also ate the vent out of 2 others that had to be put down.

She will be 5 months old August 5th.

The good thing about my guessing wrong on this......it gives me some hope that i am wrong about my calls on the BLRW chicks i have. I originally said i would be happy if even just ONE of the FIVE was a girl. THEN when it actually looked like just one of the 5 was a girl....i realized i was not happy and now wish for at least one more to be a girl
