Not My Bird, I asked the owner of the Bird but was told that he purchased it without knowing it's parents. I am thinking of single barring with motling. I am really Lost here.

by the way he is stunning little thing .what class .
I do see single barring on the upper part .hackle ,back ,lancet and shoulder marking .look to me like there is some thing preventing the barring to cover the rest of the plumage { tail ,wings etc..............} maybe is not sex linked barring ,could be some sort of Autossomal barring.mixed pattern genes in there .
very hard not knowing the parents stock .

chooks man

Looks like blue single barred?
EEBlblBb?
I’m going simply due to the fact the barring is inhibited over most of the bird, which often happens in blues. And the sex feathers are darker like in blues.
However, you could be right about the opal since the wings and tail are more of a clear white than a blue, though it could be the photo.
