I have 6 pullets in my mini flock of 7. Just over a month ago the first started laying! Today I discovered 4 are now laying. White is my leghorn, one brown one is my red sexlink, other is my splash maran, this is her third egg. This beautiful green one speckled with green gray spots is the slight enigma. The three that are left is:
Cream legbar (obv can’t be hers)
RIR/EE cross. (The lady said there’s a chance she’ll lay green eggs but I’m new so who knows)
Cream legbar mystery cross. *shes my pick for this egg*
Do you think I’m right or do you think my rir/EE mix might be the culprit? She’s the oldest so I really thought she would of been the first to lay but it looks like she’s going to be the last at this rate.

Sorry! Not sure why I didn’t think of posting pics of them.

So first the leash likely in my opinion, Hawk. I’m thinking if she does lay green like the lady said she might it wouldn’t be a dark olive but it could vary we’ll be plain brown.

Then there is my cream leg bar (non crested) Ivory, I know she has a pea comb but she came from a well known breeder of them around here their the only breed she has so I doubt anything got in with them. So I’m expecting blue eggs from her, but if the pea comb messes that up maybe she could lay this

And finally my main suspect is a cream leg bar crossed with an unknown rooster. She’s gorgeous, my favourite in looks! Chamomile, I was hoping to get a beautiful egg from her and I love this colour so I’m hoping it is hers

She’s very shy so I had to take this from afar. And then a better pic of the egg

So today I’m even more confused! Didn’t catch the new layer in there But I found this egg! Green yesterday grey today! Same chicken or is this the legbar cross? Same shape and size but different colour so I’m thinking it has to be the legbar mix and the green was the EE mix?? Bc a chicken always lays the same colour right? Not different shades?

However when I used flash they look more similar

So chicken experts, same chicken or different?
