Guess the sex game 😁

I have 2 ameraucana chicks that are 5 weeks. I'm hoping we can try guess the sex. I'm thinking the splash is a roo based on the tail feathers, stance and width of the comb.

It's a little early for certainty, but looking at the combs now, the splash's is much wider. So it may turn out to be a cockerel. Watch to see if the comb grows and gets red in the next few weeks. If it does, you can be fairly certain that it is a boy.

I don't see any obvious cockerels. The splash does have a pretty wide comb though. It's still early though. Post updated pics of combs in 3 weeks.

Oof yeah. I have a...*looks at calendar*...3 1/2 month old EE (off color Ameraucana) that I'm still not 100% sure about. Mine's probably a pullet but I just don't trust my luck, lol.

They all look like hens.

I know its early im just impatient
Ill keep a close eye on the splashes comb, and update more photos in a few weeks!

Tentatively pullets, but a lot can change in a few weeks. I had a splash with a wide comb and particular stance that I thought was a cockerel, but it turned out to be a pullet
