Yeah. The legs are more “Sturdy” looking than ones that age, and the pea comb is more pink. I will get his/her legs when the chickens come out of the bush!!!!

Ok. That may be. We purchased 4 ameraucana pullets. One I noticed the legs were much bigger around. Then it crowed. But I didn’t have a lot of experience so thought maybe that’s why I noticed the legs on him. Just out of the 4, the legs were the biggest difference.The thickness of the legs doesn't mean a thing.
Thanks you all. We have lost so much this spring, the thought of having a rooster again to look over the hens makes me happy. I’m hoping!!!!Same
