I'd say the one on the left is a partridge silkie

Silkie make great pets I hear, I've never had one myself, but I was thinking about getting one. Currently my favorite breed is a Cochin bantam.

... Looks like there might be two silkies, slikies have five toes instead of four so that will tell you.

I agree- it looks like you have two partridge silkies peeking out of the back there. And the black and white one looks like a mottled cochin to me. Not sure about the one in front, but all of them are adorable!

The back is not a mottled Cochin, they are half white, I've had one.
Maybe a black Cochin?

Mottled cochins sort of have a range of more white to more black- I've had a few. A six week old mottled cochin chick I have right now looks almost identical to this one.

Two of them have 5 toes! They mottled one and the brown/buff fluff ball. The mottled one is half the size of the others. But is doing well! I sure hope we have at least one silkie. They are stinky cute! The large yellow one (buff Orpington?) is cockerel because he is a sweetie. But we have a good home waiting if any turn up Roo.

Anyway to guess sex? Feathering? Comb? Feet?
