Lots of threads recently with silkie sexing, comb width etc. Thought it would be interesting to look back on some of my birds when younger and see if folks could guess their genders based on combs at fairly young ages. I found 4 that have all been gender ID via DNA testing and have since grown enough to verify the accuracy (100%). All the birds pictured were between 4-8 weeks of age at the time of the photos, the age most people post on this forum looking for answers. Chick 1 only has one photo, the others have two photos each. Good luck!
I will follow up with the correct results.
