Guess to this little ones breed?

That's so sweet. I miss having goslings. My goose is now 11 and hasn't laid an egg in 5-6 yrs. But she still loves to play at brooding she is sitting on some fake goose eggs now. Only for a few hrs in the morning but it makes her feel good I guess. lol

of course, we need more pictures of these cuties you have.

I'll try to remember to take my phone down later when I go down XD

Opps I forgot to update things were so busy and hectic with family issues and weather and stuff lol Some pictures I managed to get when I remembered to. I probably have more on my phone but its dead right now.

Anyways both have survived. Gus the male toulouse I dont even know lol I don't want to call him a sissy but hes scared of the chickens lol Gizzy on the other hand doesn't like them and hisses at them and walks with her head lowered toward them. Recently we had some HOT days and we ended up giving them full access to deeper water. We started with one of the white bowls but little mister Gus decided to spend most of his time in it and making it dirty quickly because ughhh geese are so dirty. So going out frequently to change the water went to a second bowl. Gizzy didn't sit in it.

However after we started bringing them out of the blocked off pen from the chickens Gizzy found a fancy for the kiddie pool after falling in lol. They love it. And Gizzy was the first to show me a weird sight of them going under water fully. Gus followed lol. Were still not sure whether Gizzy is a male or female but whatever it is it's hilarious lol Their both funny to be honest.

Gus- Doesn't hesitate to get wet or investigate people first, scared of the chickens and runs from them, Prone to laying on my mothers foot if shes sitting outside, some rare petting sessions, doesn't like blueberries, easily gets distracted by grass

Gizzy- Doesn't like shallow water, will guard against the chickens, less prone to approaching people unless Gus does first. Faster at running than Gus and follows me better than Gus but stops following to stay by Gus if he's distracted by the grass. Loves blueberries.

So far that's what I've noticed. We are now trying to get them to interact with the chickens so we can hopefully soon put them outside at night but they are preferring our interaction rather than the chickens.. I think they are growing every day. I don't know why but it seems like their growing really fast over night lol

I think we can actually see them grow if we watched long enough. They are adorable love their names.
If possible I would not have the chickens and geese locked in the same coop. Geese can kill a chicken pretty easily. They will learn to live with them but I just don't think it's a good idea to lock them up at night together.

It's been a while since I updated and unfortunately I wish I had pictures to show how beautiful they have gotten. Gus has braved up against the chickens. They don't mind standing out in the pouring rain for some odd reason. I wish they would take shelter during storms but they just don't seem to care. Gus will eat from me and my moms hands and he tends to take foods gently. He doesn't let us pet him as much as he used to but we can still get some pets or even a hug lol On the other hand Gizzy screams bloody murder if you try it lol. Shes even bitten my niece for trying to hold her. Gus while he also tries walking away once you stop him he just sorta gives in lol. Their to big to pick up now.

When people say domestic geese are to fat to fly I would love to show them proof lol both gus and gizzy have gotten a couple feet of air. Gizzy can get about 3-4 feet of air.

We've been trying to get gizzy to eat from our hands but she rarely even takes treats from us but if we have a handfull of grass she goes crazy and man does she not take it carefully. It makes me grateful that gus takes food easy.

I'm hoping he doesnt change to much in personality once he becomes able to breed. He's so sweet..

There is oddly one chicken they dont often defend against for some reason even with treats. Our hen Rosemary who is the only chicken who doesnt mind being picked up here and there. I don't know if its because shes the only one who didnt bully them or what. Even though we have another buff orpington they still go after her but not rosemary so its confusing. Gus does not like our rooster. Our rooster learned that the hard way and now keeps his distance lol.
